Since 1995, Nathan has been a member of Acousticity, an acoustic trio who performs the music of artists like James Taylor, Grateful Dead, Robben Ford, Bob Marley, and original music as well. The trio also includes guitarist, Doug Wilkin, and guitarist / percussionist, Mark Weakland.

When performing as a duo, Nathan and Mark Weakland go by the moniker, Soy Bomb. They have been developing a repertoire that has included music by Sting, U2, Genesis, Jason Mraz.
Nathan has also appeared with singer / songwriter, Paula Purnell, on her recording, "Near".
Also with Purnell, Wilkin, guitarist Gerard Rolffe, and violinist / mandolinist Art Gazdik, Nathan has performed and recorded with the ensemble, The NewLanders. Nathan has recently recorded with Pittsburgh's John Hayes. See recordings page for details. Other recent recording projects include Johnstown singer/songwriter, Rachel Allen, who just released her new CD, Almost There. He also contributed bass lines to a forthcoming CD by Johnstown's Ann Dougherty.
